This is an amazing hockey sport romance with great characters and story, only in comparison to other similar books could be more developed.
It is the second part and continuation of Cam and Haylie’s love story. Cam continue fighting for Haylie’s heart, and slowly breaks her walls. Her problem with the trust and the fear of becoming the next punk bunny doesn’t allow them to go forward. And when to that her ex tries to get her back, she will have to decide what she really wants.
This book as a whole, the first and second part presents a really nice story. I love Cam Erickson, he is wonderful, heart-warming and so hot. Haylie really had no chance. Their chemistry is great and the plot is growing nicely. I never refuse to read the next romance with hot hockey player. And even though she could be annoying with her uncertainty, I been able to understand it and they are so cute together, that it’s worth it.
“You, Cam Erickson , are the best mistake I’ve ever made.”
What I’m missing is more developed story, more emotion, maybe his pov? Just more because above all, compared to other sports romance is a little too little. Although it is cool, it is not enough. Not when there are so many complex written books. But for someone who likes hockey romances it will surely be nice, short story to read. I count on the next book in this series. I would like to learn more about the secondary characters. And see more how our couple will develop their relationship.
